This pact, which marks the beginning of the relation between the Spanish and Icelandic TV banners, is part of of Secuoya Studios’ strategy to dedicate 30% of its catalogue to content in languages other than Spanish by 2027. The Madrid-based film and TV studio behind “Shades” and “Arcadia” recently struck similar partnerships with BlackBox Multimedia in the U.K. and with Sydney Gallonde, the indie French producer of Harlan Coben’s hit series “No Second Chance” and “Just One Look.”

Act4, whose leadership is completed by Jónas Margeir Ingólfsson and Birkir Blær Ingólfsson (“The Minister 1 & 2”), has already delivered the series “Reykjavik Fusion and is currently producing “Death of a Horse.”
‘This partnership represents a key step in our international roadmap. As a leading pan-regional Nordic player, Act4 shares with us a creative and strategic vision that prioritizes quality, diversity and global reach. We are excited about what we can build together,’ said Brendan Fitzgerald, Secuoya Studios CEO.
Jónas Margeir Ingólfsson, CEO of Act4, said “Partnering with Secuoya Studios is not only a prestigious recognition of ACT4’s operations and success- but also a key factor in strengthening our vision and strategy for a greater reach across the Nordics.”
