Atiat Limited, a company known for leadership in automotive leasing and finance, has opened its new head office on Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of its plan to expand into a broader financial services space. The unveiling also marked the launch of its new strategic direction called Atiat 3.0, which moves the company from only leasing and finance into a fully integrated ecosystem covering finance, insurance, technology, and mobility solutions.
The new headquarters was described as a major turning point for the company by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kanayo Eni-Ikeh. Speaking during the commissioning, he said the facility was designed as the “nerve centre” of the company’s next growth phase. According to him, the headquarters will bring staff from across different units of the business under one roof to encourage innovation, improve collaboration, and deliver better services to customers.
“This building brings our people together under one roof so we can innovate faster for our clients,” Mr. Eni-Ikeh said. “We set out to build more than an office. This is the home of Atiat 3.0—where technology, talent, and vision converge. We are empowering our team to serve a wider market while driving growth for clients and the economy.”
Atiat Limited has in recent years expanded its reach through acquisitions and new solutions that combine insurance brokerage, vehicle leasing and fleet management, lending, and financial products. The goal, according to management, is to create a single platform where individuals and businesses can access a wide range of services to help them grow and manage risks.
Mr. Eni-Ikeh explained that the new headquarters is not just a physical expansion but a symbol of the company’s readiness to scale across Nigeria and West Africa. He said Atiat’s vision is to make growth opportunities more accessible to individuals and small businesses across the country.
“Our vision is to democratise access to growth,” he stated. “Imagine a small business in Ibadan or Kano being able to secure financing, obtain software to automate operations, acquire equipment to increase production, arrange vehicles for logistics, and get insurance to manage risks—all through one relationship. That is the future we are building.”
The Chairman of Atiat Limited, Mr. Obinna Ufudo, also spoke at the event. He noted that the new office is more than just a workplace but a reflection of the company’s ambition to build an institution that can stand the test of time.
“This is more than just a building; it is a symbol of our ambition to stand the test of time,” Mr. Ufudo said. “Atiat is not just a financial services company—we are building a connected ecosystem that empowers Nigerian businesses and individuals with insurance, lending, technology, and mobility solutions all in one place. Our aim is to become the partner of choice for growth and success in Nigeria’s economy.”
The Executive Director of Business Development, Ms. Obiageli Ejiofor, explained that the company’s ecosystem approach would create more value for customers by using data and expertise across its various businesses. She said this method will allow Atiat to offer customised solutions, from credit scoring to product design, that will better serve client needs.
The unveiling attracted many stakeholders, business partners, and guests, who later joined a networking reception. During the event, attendees interacted with Atiat’s leadership team to understand the company’s future direction under Atiat 3.0.
Industry watchers believe this development is a major step forward in Nigeria’s financial services industry. They note that with its expanded operations, Atiat Limited is now positioning itself as more than just a provider of leasing and lending. It is transforming into a one-stop hub where businesses and individuals can access financial, insurance, and mobility services powered by technology.
As the company plans to extend its footprint across West Africa, Atiat 3.0 signals a blend of ambition and adaptability in Nigeria’s challenging but promising economic environment. For its leaders, the new headquarters on Victoria Island is not only a workplace but a launchpad for innovation, collaboration, and greater impact.
