In a statement on Sunday, the company said the awards, held in Berlin, Germany, recognise groundbreaking innovations across 16 categories, celebrating excellence in technology, design, and market impact.
LG’s most notable victory came with the LG Signature OLED T, the world’s first wireless transparent television, which won both Best of IFA and Best in Home Entertainment. The transparent TV, a blend of futuristic design and cutting-edge technology, has been described as a major leap forward in television innovation.
The electronics giant also received five Category Best titles and 11 Honouree recognitions, marking one of its strongest performances at a global tech event.

In the Accessibility category, the LG Comfort Kit took top honours for its inclusive design aimed at enhancing user comfort for people of all abilities.
In the Home Appliances segment, LG’s AI Sense Clean Dishwasher and Microplastic Filter were praised for their smart cleaning technology and environmentally friendly design, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. Other notable winners included the LG WashTower, Heat Pump Washer & Dryer, Robot Vacuum with Built-in Station, and Wet & Dry Stick Vacuum, all designed to improve efficiency and ease in modern homes.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, Managing Director of LG Electronics West Africa, said the recognition reinforces LG’s leadership in innovation and its strong connection with consumers.
“Winning 17 awards, including the Best of IFA, validates LG’s commitment to innovation and its customer-first philosophy,” he said. “For Nigerian consumers, it reaffirms our promise to deliver advanced yet meaningful technologies that improve everyday life.”
He added that the company’s consistent recognition at international platforms highlights its global reliability and the quality that Nigerian consumers have come to trust.
These achievements, LG said, strengthen consumer confidence that every product from the brand—whether designed for the Nigerian market or the global audience—meets the highest standards of innovation, performance, and sustainability.
