87 min: Despite Vålerenga looking to finish strong, United have taken control now. Some good game management on display.
85 min: Vålerenga makes more changes with Saevik and Eiriksdottir off for Thorsnes and Pettersen. Thornes is immediately in on the action with a shot but it’s just wide.
83 min: Park wins a free kick after she draws a foul from Inauen with a blistering run. Sandberg takes the set piece but it’s out for a goal kick.
81 min: United make a change after another Malard shot goes over the ball with Zigiotti Olme off for Naalsund.
80 min: Vålerenga committing more players up front as the last phase of this game is played, if they manage to get through for a chance United will rue their missed chances. But for now United retain the ball.
78 min: Vålerenga test Tullis-Joyce for the first time this half with Hansen whipping in a cross but the United keeper claimed the ball.
77 min: Rolfo takes her first shot of the evening but it’s blocked, it comes to Toone but her effort is well wide. Vålerenga make another change with Hegg off for Sesay.
75 min: United have moments of urgency but it very much feels like they are okay to see out this 1-0 result. They are dominating possession but they haven’t had a shot on target for quite some time with Malard’s latest over the bar.
73 min: Here come the changes with Hansen and Brekken on for Heidarsdottir and Vickius for Vålerenga. United, meanwhile, bring on Rolfo for Terland.
72 min: Substitutes have been waiting to come on for about four minutes but the ball just has not gone out of play, the changes will be made as soon as that happens.
70 min: Sandberg pings in a lovely cross but no one is there to head it home which is such a shame after a great build-up.
68 min: United are continuing to push for a second goal but they can’t find a way through. Aside from the penalty, which was a little harsh, Vålerenga have had a good game.
66 min: Terland is growing into this game as Toone finds her with a resulting shot just going wide.
64 min: The corner delivery is not the best and the visitors easily clear. They piece together their own attack but Park wins it in the midfield. She finds Terland but it’s blocked. End-to-end!
62 min: Park finds a lovely pass to Terland and she wins a corner from Kovacs. Some beautiful football on display, they just need to convert it into a goal.
61 min: Patient build-up play from United once again as Park tries to find a way through but Vålerenga’s defence is impressive.
59 min: Here the hosts come again with Sandberg winning a free kick from Hegg. Sandberg takes it herself but passes backwards as United look to build but Vålerenga disrupt the move.
57 min: Terland, who has struggled to make an impact in this game, is fed a pass but it has too much on it for another chance to go begging.
55 min: Some chances for United going to waste, they will feel they should have another goal to make this game a bit more comfortable for them/
53 min: With all of United’s attacking pressure what Vålerenga did not need was a poor ball from Enblom to open her team up but the defensive line handled it well to get rid of the danger.
51 min: United remain patient and they work it forward from Tullis-Joyce but Enblom saves Malard’s chance.
49 min: United keep up the attacking pressure and eventually win a free kick. The hosts take it quickly but are forced back to their own keeper.
47 min: Vålerenga headed into this game on a 10-game winning streak but that record is disappearing by each passing minute with United almost going 2-0 up with a lovely move between Toone and Park ending with Enblom saving. They win a corner from it and Sandberg pops it in but it’s cleared.
